Jacquie Brennan is an attorney who focuses her practice on disability law, including disability discrimination cases, special education cases, school law cases, and Social Security disability cases.
A 1997 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, Ms. Brennan's interest in disability law started with her 9 children, the youngest 5 of whom are adopted and have different kinds of disabilities.
Ms. Brennan has worked with two disability law non-profit organizations -- Advocacy, Incorporated and the Southwest ADA Center.
Ms. Brennan is the director of the Paralegal Certificate Program at the University of Houston. She's the president of the Board of Directors of two non-profit organizations -- Project DOCC Houston and A Simple Thread. She is a member of the Bioethics Committee of Texas Children's Hospital.
